Boundaries & Co-Dependency coaching at Avenues of Life Counseling and Coaching supports individuals who feel over-responsible for others, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns of people-pleasing, over-giving, or self-abandonment.

This work is designed for people who want healthier relationships without guilt, rigidity, or cutting themselves off. The goal is not distance—it’s clarity, choice, and self-respect.

I help people develop healthy boundaries and break co-dependent patterns so they can stay connected without losing themselves.

What we work on together:

  • Identifying co-dependent and over-functioning patterns

  • Understanding emotional responsibility vs. self-responsibility

  • Boundary clarity (emotional, relational, time, energy)

  • Guilt, fear, and nervous-system responses to boundary setting

  • Communication that is clear, calm, and respectful

  • Rebuilding self-trust and internal authority

  • Creating healthier relational dynamics without disengagement

  • Therapy or trauma processing

  • Advice to cut people off

  • Blame-based or confrontational coaching

  • Rigid scripts or one-size-fits-all boundaries
